Every cyclist loves a coffee and cake stop, so use this page to spread the word about your favourite refuelling venue. Contact Simon Dawson (FB messenger or email SRAMCC website editor ) if you want to add a recommendation. Photos are also welcome.
If you can, please say why you like it, and add helpful information such as where do you store bikes, or if they can easily cope with larger groups (or not).
NORTH of SALISBURY
EAST of SALISBURY
The Kitchen Cafe
Within Cedar Nursery, Sandy Lane, Braishfield, Romsey, SO51 0PD
Best cafe in the area, serving good quality food, particularly the all-day breakfasts (vegetarian options available). Great coffee and cakes too. Indoor seating only (approx. 12 tables) with a wood burner to keep you warm on a winter stop. Can get busy at weekends and during school holidays so not suitable for organised group rides as you may have to wait for tables. Good mid-week option for small groups. A small number of bikes can be stored inside the nursery just in front of the cafe entrance (use side entrance towards the rear of the car park).
Poppies Cafe
Choice Plants Garden Centre Cafe, Stockbridge Road, Timsbury, Romsey, SO51 0NB

Beccafico
145 Tuckton Road, Tuckton, Christchurch, BH6 3JZ
A small Deli and Cafe in the parade of shops at Tuckton, west of Christchurch. Very tasty Pizza, Pasta and Rice dishes to refuel during a trip to the coast. The Pork and Beef Arancini are well worth the distance. (Smallish groups only – bikes can be left in view on the wide pavement outside).
