Anti-Harassment Policy

1. Introduction
SRAMcc is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all members and participants. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour. This policy outlines our expectations and procedures to prevent and address such conduct.

2. Definitions
– Harassment: Any unwanted conduct, whether verbal, non-verbal, written, visual, or physical, that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, interferes with an individual’s participation, or affects their well-being based on their race, colour, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic. 
– Discrimination: Treating someone differently or less favourably based on their protected characteristic.
– Abusive Behaviour: Any conduct that threatens, intimidates, or causes harm to others physically or emotionally.

3. Expected Conduct
– All club members and participants are expected to treat each other with respect, dignity, and fairness.
– Do not engage in any behaviour that may be interpreted as harassing, discriminatory, or abusive.
– Respect others’ personal boundaries and consent.

4. How to Report Incidents
– If you experience, witness, or become aware of any harassment or abusive behaviour, please report it promptly to any member of the SRAMcc committee.
– Reports can be made in person, in writing, via email, or through the club’s official communication channels.
– All reports will be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and treated confidentially.

5. Consequences
– Anyone found to have violated this anti-harassment policy may be subject to disciplinary action, ranging from a warning to expulsion from the club, depending on the severity and circumstances of the incident.
– Repeat offenders may face more severe consequences.

6. Retaliation
– Retaliation against individuals who report incidents in good faith or participate in an investigation is strictly prohibited.

7. Education and Awareness
– SRAMcc will provide ongoing education and awareness programs to its members to promote a harassment-free environment and foster inclusivity.
