Salisbury is a superb base for gravel riding.
- The New Forest.
- Salisbury Plain.
- The rolling Chalk Ridges to the West,
- Hampshire Woodland to the East.
Even the coast and the Isle of Purbeck are in range of a long day’s riding.
There are a number of gravel riders in the club, with tastes varying from short social rides up to all-day and multi-day adventures. Some of their routes have been uploaded to the Gravel Routes page.
SRAMcc runs a weekly gravel social ride in the summer months where riders can meet up to compare notes. There is also a Facebook sub-group for gravel riders to keep in touch.
