Yesterday a group of SRAMcc members, (Stuart Brown, Chantel Cowlam, Sam Dorking and Wayne Brittain) visited the Isle of Wight for the annual Randonnee. An early and slightly chilly start gave way to a fantastic day. We made a slight detour to take in a spot of early lunch at Cook+Baker in Godshill, and tried to keep our times at the official stops as brief as we could. Fortunately we had the wind with us most of the way around until we hit the Military Road and then around the top section of the island, but strong riding by everyone meant we made good time.
The Randonnee is a lovely event, amazing to see so many cyclists on the island. It would be great to see some more SRAMcc riders next year.
