Battle On The Beach 29/30 March 2025
Battle on the Beach takes place in the breathtaking Pembrey Country Park and on the historic Cefn Sidan Beach in South Wales. The area is steeped in history, with the park once serving as a munitions factory from 1882 to 1963. Riders may catch glimpses—or even pass through—some of the remnants, including tunnels, bunkers, train depots, and defence towers. Cefn Sidan Beach also has a fascinating past, with over 100 shipwrecks recorded in its shallow waters and along its firm sands. Today, this remarkable venue is a stunning country park, boasting over 500 acres of lush woodland and a Blue Flag beach, offering the perfect backdrop for the event. 9 SRAM members were racing and it started well on Saturday with Josh bagging a 3rd in the U14 race followed by Reuben getting the win and Tony getting a 2nd in their respective categories in the hugely entertaining night 10k…
